I use these two and have found them to be very reliable:

c3640-jk9s-mz.124-16 - works with all gns3vault labs so it's pretty handy

c3725-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T10 - I use this for other labs as I found the above IOS was lacking a few features, one being EIGRP for IPv6.

Along with ones above - c2691-adventerprisek9-mz.124-25c seems to be working well for me so far. But some test labs I am doing are CBT Nugget test labs so that helps with those since that is what he uses :)

^^ I can vouch for 2691; works like a charm.

I used c3725-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T14 (this image has support for IPv6 EIGRP)
12.4 mainline lacks some support for IPv6 routing, use 12.4T or IOS 15 instead

Other than that, just whatever that works properly (until the lastest GNS3 release, 3745 images couldn't save config)

I use Cisco 7200 series router with c7200-adventerprisek9-mz124-24 and also have Cisco 3640 series with c3640-is-mz_120-7_t

7200 is much better but I am using the 3640 now in my security lab, 100MB but whatever it's working besides GNS3 being a massive pain in meinen Eier.
    Modularity and Design Simplicity:

Think of the 2:00 a.m. test—if you were awakened in the
middle of the night because of a network problem and had to figure out the
traffic flows in your network while you were half asleep, could you do it?
