The Cabinet the equipment:

The blue light is from the PowerEdge R200 server. Running Windows 2008 R2. (CUCM 8.6 running as VM) spec: 2 core 3.00ghz Xeon, 4GB RAM primary OS drive 250GB and a 500GB SAS drive for storage.
Cisco 2651xm router
Cisco Catalyst 2950-24 port Switch
Cisco Catalyst 3524XL-PWR Switch
Cisco 1760 router


I've also added the Extension Mobility on all my IP PHONES in the house. Each person has a user and password, also with their own Directory Number.

    Now get yourself a 3550 or better and play with L3 functions on a switch :)

    The Reason why I got the 3524XL was because it was cheap. The 3550 is quite expensive (the EMI version).

    You can buy an SMI and install the EMI (IP Services) image on it. I have 3 x 3550 (1 x 24 Port w/ Cisco Prestandard Power, 2 x 48 Port) that were upgraded SMIs.

    I missed that you were in the UK. 3550s are ALOT cheaper on this side of the pond. I paid slightly more than that for all three of mine put together.

    Sorry for the long reply, I've been busy with my domain and setting up my site and the Exchange servers. I've got 2 Exchange server for my domains. 1 is for the ciscolabs.co.uk lab and the other is for a small project I'm working on.
