Going back to CCNA

So I never knocked out any Cisco certs...but I've worked a lot with Cisco technologies. I'd like to hit CCNA and CCNA-Sec. For someone who has worked with Cisco for years, what is a good fast-track study guide to kill this exam?

Hit up the Wendel Odom books. If you don't have a physical lab setup, use either packet tracer or GNS3 with Dynamips. Since you already have years of experience, you should be able to knock this out relatively quickly.

There is no "fast-track"..you either have the knowledge or you don't. You said you have experience with Cisco so I would suggest looking at the composite exam, I think it is still 642-802

From there you can hop over to CCNA Security

Well, you could have some of the knowledge, therefore the fast track would be considered grabbing the book filling in the gaps and passing test. How fast that track is depends on how much in between not knowing and knowing he is.

Ok, then I concede.."fast track" being someone who has practical knowledge, needs to brush up on some theoretical and fill in some gaps, sit the composite and call it a day.

Odom has the books laid out well with a pre-chapter test to judge how well you know the topics. That way if you score high on the pre-chapter test you could just breeze through.

lab lab lab!! I would also recommend packet tracer is some situations.
