For most of my career I haven't really been in charge of anything major. At best, a small part of a much large project where there really wasn't much that I could forget. Now, however, I'm in-charge (in a matter of speaking) of a very large project. I'd say that I remember and complete 97% of what I need too, but in this case it needs to be 100%. My old ways won't suffice, of that much I am sure. Any suggestions on methodologies that I could study and implement to keep me on track and keep the ball rolling on my project? Thanks in advance!

I really like GTD (getting things done) for project (work and personal) management. One thing I am planning on doing is first keeping a time journal in one hour or thirty minute increments to see where I am wasting time and can put time to better use. Then I'd like to make a schedule on the same type of time planner where I schedule out things as far as studying, fun, etc.
If you're working on a project that has a bunch of moving parts and deadlines, I really like Gantt charts. But for overall project and time management, MyLifeOrganized is my favorite, Personal organizer software, task & time management software.
