So im using the v3.o topology. I am using all Vwic-MFT's. I have my t1's working properly, I can receive calls between the PSTN from the various sites. However im not entirely sure exactly what the Frame Relay is for. All my Frame relay interfaces are showing up/up and green. Here is a show int on one of the interfaces

R1#show interface Serial0/3/1:0
Serial0/3/1:0 is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is GT96K Serial

Show frame relay map/route/pvc provide no information at all.

Frame Relay statistics:

I want to do the labs in the back of the Cvoice book, but am starting to think the frame relay is going to mess them up. Any advice ?

Frame relay is a WAN technology. Its used for you to call in-between other sites so you don't have to use the PSTN for calling. While long distance rates are way down, this its still useful to use the Wan for international sites, TEHO, and centralized call control.
