Really Confused.. Is CompTIA A+ 220-801, CompTIA A+ Essentials ?
I'm really confused on CompTIA A+. I know you have to take both 220-801 and 220-801 tests to have the whole "A+ Cert". But don't they give you the "CompTIA A+ Essentials" certification when you pass 220-801? Thank You.
Vendor Neutral Certified in IT Project Management, Security, Servers, Workstations, Software, Networking, Windows, Unix and Linux and.. Cloud. :-)

I dont think so.
The only place I see "Essentials" referenced in Comptia material is for the 701 exam. Maybe it was something they used to do, but quit doing with the 800 series? -

You get no cert til you pass both.
Edit - maybe I'm wrong. Seems like the 80x exams are very diff from the 70x. However, even before, you'd get no certification until you passed both parts. There was no "A+ Essentials" designation; that was just how they named the test. You're just "A+ (CE) Certified".Goals for 2018:

CompTIA A+ 220-802 covers the skills required to install and configure PC operating systems, as well as configuring common features (e.g. network connectivity and email) for mobile operating systems Android and Apple iOS.
