Thankfully it was 7am for me, Daughter woke me up ad about 6:30, so put her infrount of the TV and bashed away on the reload until about 7:15. I have to say it was a bit slow at first :)

I feel a bit bad going for the early bird and not the full $75 due to all the benefits I have got of GNS3 over the last few years. Hope this guilty feeling can be silenced or I have to go back and pay more :)

If you feel bad go back and contribute more hehe. Its at $60k already and just got an email stating after the first stretch goal is reached $65k a new one will be revealed. I wonder what will that be.

I find it rather impressive that in a matter of 8 hours they raised about $61k I wonder if it'll break the $100k mark in 17 days.

There is no doubt in my mind that they will break 100k.

My group and YouTube channel probably wouldn't exist if it wasn't for GNS3.

I donated $25 and will be giving them $1000 after I pass my CCIE (hopefully December 5th!!!)

Yeah CCIE labs would be nice.... but if you use the major training vendors workbooks, there's already preconfigured GNS3 topologies that you can download now.

INE Workbook Volume 1 and 2
Narbik Micronics Foundation, Advanced Routing and Switching, and Bootcamp
    Cisco 360 Practice Lab Workbook

I know the guy who made them. He's really cool :)

I'm having way to much fun hitting F5 and watching the numbers go up !

They will have absolutely no problems hitting their funding goals.

I got the $25 Early Bird Premium Package, but boy this sucked I was at my computer hitting F5 to refresh starting at 1:01am central time and the website was crashing and would not load for about half an hour. I am so tired this morningsleeping.gif

I just shared it on my LinkedIn. I'm not sure that people actually subscribe to get the e-mail. I actually saw the thread here, and I'm subscribed to the gns3.net listing.

    They're at 82,976 right now.
Wait, 83,476 (before I could finish this post).
    Wait 83,566 ... LOL.
    Wait 83,591... HAHAHAHA.

On another topic: Where have I been? I didn't know routergods came to this forum.

So the $100k goal is a security lab pack not to bad since configuring the asa on gns3 is a pain.

Yah it will definitely be nice to get some labs in on some security stuff even though it is not my main focus.

    We're at $98K. I want to hit $200K.

They deserve it. I wish this thread was in the general section. Hopefully, it makes it's way around the net. Just think the improvement in quality of life having access to GNS3 has made for a lot of network engineers.

I lurk in the shadows... I would be more active, but this CCIE studying is killing me.

The software has definitely helped me with work and study. I love my home lab, but when it's slow at work, it's nice to have something to use.

Got in for $25. Cheap price to pay.

    What exactly is cloud processing?

Put my $25 in. Even if I never use the product, at least I've contributed for its use in the past.

Very excited to see what they come up with and how I can supplement my physical lab with it.

Run your topology on Amazon/Rackspace or a similar cloud service. Kill someone else's processors rather than your own processor.

I knew routergods (HC) was lurking around here. If you want the FAQ intro video for Routergods, he gives a great endorsement of TechExams. :)

*Waves* Nice to see you posting on here. I love the beginner MPLS, BGP, and Multicast videos that you've been doing the last few weeks. They've been motivating me to get home early on Monday nights and jump on the chat.

Anyways, gave $75. Does anyone know if the new GNS3 will support 2900 and 3900 series router images or 9.X ASA code? Just curious if any details like that have trickled out. Either way, I guess I'll see in early 2014

$106k (well, $106,025 now icon_cool.gif) and 303% funded as of this post.

It would be really nice to see additional Cisco Models and better Juniper support (unless they have corrected that already). The switching feature alone makes this a worthwhile investment.

Just kicked in my $25. I'm now pretty excited about this!

I would like to see some CCIE stuff. I am sure the "Brians" won't like it though. I might kick in more if it starts getting that far.
