I'm guessing lack of communication isn't a good thing icon_sad.gif

Hope i'm wrong and he's just boozing it up and hanging out with a gaggle of strippers celebrating. icon_lol.gif

Think of the 2:00 a.m. test—if you were awakened in the

traffic flows in your network while you were half asleep, could you do it?

Yeah I'd like to think it was the latter as opposed to the former in this case.

Waiting for the good news, come back and update us share the experience...

A quick question for all, has CCIE got tougher/harder to attain through the years? Why do I see less and less people recently attaining CCIE as opposed to 5/6 or 10 years ago. Or is it just me feeling this way.

It's 12:50 PM the next... no score report yet!!!!

I'm pretty sure I failed troubleshooting because I may have gotten 6 or 7 tickets. Finished config 2 1/2 hours early and spent the rest of the time doublechecking stuff.
  • gorebrushgorebrush Member Posts: 2,743 ■■■■■■■□□□
Gahhhhhhhh and here was me looking for a good report. Hope you get the good news soon.

I've just started my full on all guns blazing assault to go and take down v4 in May 2014...

Usually a quick report is better but there are no guarantees. Did you at least complete all the TS tickets? Could still be a chance.

Sorry to hear it, but you never know you might squeak by. Good luck!

From what I've heard, Cisco uses automated scripts for grading. If a candidate fails via the scripts, then Cisco does manual scoring to double check it. Hopefully their scripts had a bug.

A saying from Bruce Lee comes to mind, "That which does not kill you, makes you stronger".
  • routergodsroutergods Member Posts: 66 ■■□□□□□□□□
Still nothing from Cisco.... I probably got 6 maybe 7 TS tickets max, so I don't see how I could have passed troubleshooting.

Unless their grading script bombed (in my favor)

I'm guessing you would have heard something by now, might just be slow for some reason. Usually 24hr before official word comes back unless doing on a Friday.

Nothing yet... I guess Cisco doesn't work on the weekends.

amb1s1 - Daniel = reaper81 and his anki cards are here - Flashcards updated | Daniels networking blog

My cards are a bit personalized because I created them in conjunction with the Cisco 360 Practice Lab workbook, so I can't really give them out

What? CCIE numbers have actually exploded. During my INE boot camp, we talked about. Seems mainly due to Asia and possible cheating. There are study groups and forums dedicated to dubiously passing the CCIE.

Hope you get positive news tomorrow router god.

There is also the fact that Cisco have artificially increased number of CCIE's by including inactive ones...

    Check: -

    12,000 more CCIE's in a year? I don't think so.

Wow ... still nothing. I must have really broken something or completely dazzled them.
  • reaper81reaper81 Member Posts: 631
Wow, that's really strange. I know they have a week or whatever according to the agreement but this is very strange. I would open a case with cert support to see what's happening.

I'm wondering if my lack of notepad for the first 3 hours has anything to do with it... I went through troubleshooting and wanted to save a config to notepad, but it wasn't on the desktop/start menu. At first, I thought " oh no more notepad in troubleshooting"

After config started and notepad still wasn't on my computer, I told the proctor and she popped it on my computer. She said, "you should have told me earlier" icon_sad.gif

wtf? You need to be on someones @$$ about this, you should easily know by now. You either passed or failed, it's quite simple for them to score and post results.

I'd be more concerned about potential screw ups on their side as well since this has taken so long.

HC hasn't updated anyone on his e-mail list if he passed but he sent out an e-mail on Sunday saying that he was heading over to Bangkok to do wartime reporting so he wouldn't be back until mid-January. No idea if he's going to update us before then.
