Resume Assistance

Hey everyone,

I'm in the midst of applying to different jobs and don't get much calls back. I would like to ask for assistance as to where I'm going wrong with my resume. I was taught this style in college and I've been using it since.

I would like to go from desktop support more into Sys admin/network storage and design type roles.

Now that you have graduated and have relevant job experience, list experience first then education and certifications.

Couple small things, but overall it's pretty decent already.

In no organized order:

1. Listing the specific models of laptops/workstations you've worked with will likely never matter to anyone. At most just list the manufacturer.
2. Under your Client Tech Analyst job you change tense with troubleshoot. Change this to troubleshot. Also the way you end this sentence with a list of ways you interfaced with people is awkward.
3. Under the Desktop Deployment Specialist job: Again the list at the end seems like a waste of space and a strange way of presenting this. Also why is "Application" capitalized here?
4. Same section, change "best practice" to "best practices".
5. Reword "drive increased business opportunities". Something more like "drive an increase in ..".
6. "Terminated phone and Ethernet ends into joined wall plate" -Only one wall plate for the entire project?
7. "Networked all workstations to share printer joined locally" I'm a bit confused by this, as would most people be. Remove it or make it more clear.
8. "Proficient user of server.." What server? Microsoft Server products, a unix server, call server or..?

Here are my thoughts, as a hiring manager.

Certification - put the date your cert expires. A lot of people put expired certs on resumes. You also might want to include your verification number.
Education - Since you didn't put any degree under education, I assume you didn't complete one.
Skills - Needs to be a bit more specific. Expand it if you can, even if it's on your own time. Build yourself a VMWare ESXi box, mess with some cisco stuff if you can. Broaden your horizons!
Work experience is good.

I've updated my resume to this. Any more help would be appreciated.

Also, do you still add your address to the resume? Or will just having your email and phone number be sufficient enough?
