CME to CME call via vpn

Hi,

just a theoretical question here. If I connect two CME routers over the internet via VPN, would I then be able to make calls from one ephone to another ephone as long as the two REMOTE cme routers can get to each other (in this case over vpn) ?

Just trying to come up with some "practical" lab to play with, until my cme lab guide book arrives.

Thanks!

Yes, but you'd need to factor in jitter and delay. You could do this in gns3.

As ehnde said sure! You’re at the mercy of the internet though. Chances are, if you have a decent speed connection you’ll be fine.

Cool! I want to do this over the internet, and actually factor in jitter and delay(s), something GNS3 will hide.

    Thanks!
