Security+ to SSCP Question

mataimatai Member Posts: 232 ■■■□□□□□□□
I'm taking the Security+ exam this Friday. I'm wondering if I should try to take the SSCP soon as well since the Security+ is so fresh.

Is it much of a stretch to get the SSCP from studying Security+? Would it just take some decent practice tests to fill in the gaps?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

That's basically what I did, grabbed Sec+ and then took SSCP about a month later. I picked up Darril's SSCP book and did a bunch of CCCure practices quizzes and passed.

Not a bad idea, especially if you read over Darril's SSCP book as previously mentioned you should have no problem.

Passed Security+ on last Friday. Already into Darril's book. Hoping to be ready for the SSCP I'm a few weeks.

Do you guys think his practice questions were useful?

Just passed SSCP under 3 weeks from when I passed Sec+. Just used the AIO book, lots of similar concepts.
