Looking for free braindumps

gabesinITgabesinIT Member Posts: 10 ■□□□□□□□□□
The school I'm attending gave us resources like VCE and stuff like that, but I guess recently they stopped paying for it? Any who, I'm just trying to find somewhere I can get real good practice questions like there are in the braindumps. If anyone can help please let me know!

I have been but it's really not enough. All the school gave us was crammaster and measureup and they freakin suck. I found a guy on youtube that helps with what I'm taking now but I really need more. I'm new in IT so this is all new information for me.

gabesinIT, google can be your best friend; Amazon is amazing; library is well worth your time.

This seems to be a sore subject for TE. Just buy a book and read it. You won't be doing yourself any help if you braindump a simple exam like A+. You'll be stuck at the password reset monkey level forever if you go through with this.

Okay, thanks to y'all who responded! I appreciate the input. I'll hit up the library on my way home after class and see if I can find any books on 220-801 & 220-802

I'm just trying to find a site where I can get some braindumps so I can study around the clock. Constantly watching videos and listening to Tom Carpenter get's boring. When I'm actually answering questions it helps me a lot. So, instead of paying hundreds of dollars on top of the debt I'm in from school, I'd much rather opt for free braindumps. Not necessarily JUST for A+, but for all the certs I'm taking.

Thank you sir! I appreciate you're input and will check it out as soon as I can. Do you have a link? I just did a quick google and nothing popped up, lol.

Um.. A quick google search reveals that VCE may be legitimate test prep like measureup or similar. gabesinIT: Perhaps you aren't aware that brain **** are generally used for cheating on an exam and are banned. I'm thinking you are just unfamiliar with the terminology. If that is the case then I suggest you use pro. Messer videos and the A+ section on this site to guide you. If you're actually looking to **** then know that doing so will only hurt you in the long run.

Maybe it was just poorly worded. I believe "braindumps" are wrong, however, the VCE software is great. I use the designer software to create questions to help me with definitions, understanding topics, and review of book questions. VCE software has helped me with college classes and certifications. For one of my Biology classes, I created a VCE of 520 question just to cover 3 chapters. It helps me with my studying while I create the questions for me to review later. If you are implying the use in that way, than it is great.

I am actually studying for my A+ now and creating VCEs from my notes. It GREATLY helps when trying to learn memory sticks and updates on IDE/ATA cable features. I've had more notes on chapter 7 RAM than a lot of other chapters combined.

Oh no, not by any means am I trying to ****. I've used VCE before and the schools subscription ran out or something so we can't download files anymore. I just have felt I benefit more from VCE and measureup type sites but when I do use measureup I experienced that the questions didn't have **** to do with the ones on the vendor exam. I'm really just searching for other outlets to help me prepare for my vendor exams. I literally started school in January with little IT information. So this is basically like learning a new language for me. I've gotten overwhelmed quite a bit but I'm keeping at it, which is new for me. Lol.

But yeah, I'm just really looking for good, free, reliable study resources. I appreciate your response!

Yeah, that's what I'm basically doing. Since A+ is such a high volume of information and each class I take is only 6 weeks long it's hard to retain all the information, especially since it's all new for me. Thanks for the response!

Yeaaaaah, haha, my bad. I just heard someone in my class use this term so I thought I would also. I guess that was my fault, sorry guys! Yeah, like I said earlier I'm just looking for reliable resources to help me prepare for these vendor exams.

Professor Messer is great. Then you'll want to read a text book. A lot of people like the Mike Meyers text. I personally preferred the A+ Exam Cram (but I had some prior IT knowledge when I took my A+.)

Whichever book you use will come loaded with practice questions.

Prof Messer, Book, MeasureUp, and some hands on experience inside of a comp will most likely have you acing the exam, easily.

    Good luck.

Just to clarify why brain **** or similar memorization of questions and answers is bad, the certification itself is far from a job guarantee in the IT world, as you need to survive the technical interview for the IT position.

A technical interview consists of scenario questions that will be in the realm of a subject like A+ / MCSA / CCNA, where you will have to listen to a problem and explain how you would solve it, rather than a multiple choice exam style set of questions. Given that you probably won't be walking into the first interview with experience, labbing is crucial. Someone mentioned it above, and it seems you may have googled "lab-bing" as though it was a website, however it is the best way to learn materials, as always reading as you said is a snore.

Labbing is simulating what you learn about in either a physical "lab" you build at home, or a simulator that gives you a virtual lab, although I forget which good simulator I used for A+ in college. I'd suggest maybe buying a couple cheap desktop computers, which are extremely cheap if you get used ones locally, and completely disassemble and reassemble them until you no longer struggle with reassembly. Then maybe pick up cheap parts here and there to upgrade it as you read along, and before you know it you'll have built a couple of nice little home servers for Microsoft studies / labbing.

Trust me, once you finally land your first interview for an IT job, you don't want to blow it by not knowing squat. Starting off in IT is not easy, so you need to position yourself for success in the interview room much more than the exam room.

+1 to cyberguypr haha. GabesinIT had everyone ruffled there for a minute lol me included. This is a good place to study, they have built practice exams right on this site. Also the Sybex CompTIA book comes with a useful CD if you get it.

Brain **** are not the best way to go. If you want to learn the material use test banks and google and watch youtube vidoes. I would recommend Mike myers book for A+

Total Seminars - Mike Meyers CompTIA Video Training

    I hope this helps.
