please I have these questions and need the answers>>>

Q1: An ISP is granted a CIDR block of addresses starting with
120.60.4.0/22. The ISP wants to distribute these blocks to 100 organizations with
each organization receiving 8 addresses only. Design the sub-blocks and give the
slash notation for each sub-block. Find out how many addresses are still available
after these allocations.

Q2: In some situations, a subset of the more specific routes needs to be
advertised in addition to the aggregate? Explain why with the help of an example.

So to get the ball rolling I want to negotiate the answer of the first question.

A1. the total number of addresses is (2)10 = 1024 addresses.

Each group needs 8 addresses only. That means the prefix length is 32-3=29 so that the slash notation will be /29.

The first sub-block 120.60.4.0/29 to 120.60.4.7/29

The second sub-block 120.60.4.8/29 to 120.60.4.15/29
.
.
.
.
Te addresses which still available is 1024 - (8*100)= 224 addresses.

Please tell me that this is wright and if so , give me a help with the second Q.:D

Each group needs 8 addresses only:

The first sub-block 120.60.4.0/29 to 120.60.4.7/29

The second sub-block 120.60.4.8/29 to 120.60.4.15/29

With cisco you have to pay close attention to the wording of a question. Such as usable host vs subnet size.

When you say each organization needs 8 addresses, I’m thinking you mean 8 usable ip address for 8 individual host.

The ranges you have will not cover 8 host, because 120.60.4.0 is the network, and 120.60.4.15 is the broadcast.
