Palo Alto ACE and CSNE

Has anyone sat for these exams? If so, what were your thoughts on the exam?

We've recently installed some 5050's at work and have really enjoyed setting these up. I'm thinking I might sit the ACE (seeing as it's online and free) on the weekend and look to do the CSNE shortly after.

I passed the CNSE 4 exam a while back. I would suggest that if you have been through a couple installs, created a bunch of rules, etc you probably will not have any issue passing. There is a certification pack of PDFs you can download from their site and the "outline" makes for an awfully easy way to prepare. As I recall you will have to be fairly familiar with the interface. The CNA is a good prep for the CNSE.

PAN 6 came out recently and is quite similar to PAN 5. The cert for PAN 6 should be available with in the next 6 months. I figure I will study for PAN 6.

    Hope that helps,
    Bob

    PS: I have the following MCSE 2003, VCP4, VCP5 and CNSE4

What Osm3um said. Pretty straight forward if you've used it and read over those PDFs (I passed both a year ago).
