Passed 70-272
I passed my first MS exam 70-272.
The passing score was 700 and I got 836.
My weakest section was Resolving Issues Related to Usability, the rest were all strong or fairly strong!
Next exam will be the 271, which I know is harder, so I thought get the easy one done which gives me confidence.
Does anyone have any tips for the 271 exam?
My tips for the 272 exam
(1) Buy the MS book specifically written for the 272 exam
(2) Use the CD provided in the book and go through all the questions
(3) Follow the tutorials in the book using your own PC
(4) Get some sort of tech job to get hands on experience supporting users
I made the biggest mistake buying the MCDST course via a home learning organisation ICS(UK)....biggest rip off. Just get the official book from MS that contains a CD with simliar style questions the test consists...bingo...study that and you'll be fine.

Congratulations! Most posts that I've seen have said that 70-271 is easier than 70-272, but I personally didn't think so in my experience.
If I were you I would just study for the 70-271 the same way you studied for 272. Since 271 covers (in less detail) much of 70-271, it's not a bad idea to take the 270 Practice Exam here as well as read up on the 270 TechNotes that appear in the 271 exam objectives.
