Reliable email provider

Was wondering which email providers people use here.

Gmail has the most ugly user interface I've ever seen and I'm looking for a good alternative.

outlook.com seems interesting, any thoughts?

How long have you been using them? Ran into any issues during your time with them?

I used Neomailbox (swiss) but it was reeeallllyyyy sloowwwww (being in Switzerland and all) and some of the features didn't always work.

Now I moved to Fastmail and I love it, especially the family accounts. It is hosted in the US which is pro/con depending on how you're looking at it. I believe they'll be reliable, long term.

Just curious - why don't you just use IMAP and select the MUA of your choice. We use Microsoft Outlook in my household so it really doesn't matter which email provider we use.

Been using zoho for about 5 months. Works great on mobile & browser, no complaints so far.

Office 365 will do MAPI with Outlook and ActiveSync with many devices. Syncs everything and has a good web interface.
