What are the possibilities for a career changer?

Hi Guys,

I am looking to pursue a career in the IT security field, mainly in the management side. I have no experience, my background is in admin and operations in non IT fields. However I have a certificate in computer science from many years ago, have worked in retail dealing with computer(building fixing) in my earlier career.
Where would I start, I tried a few different practice compita a+ exams and passed them without any study.
Where do I start from, Network+ >Security+?
What would job opportunities be like, am I wishing for to much?
