Anybody working on this track currenty?

As the title suggests.

I have done CCNA Security course and will be doing Implementing Cisco Edge Network Security Solutions in a course soon for work
Currently Studying: CCNP Security
300-206 - Completed 04-Jul-2014
300-209 - Completed 09-May-2017
300-208 - TBC

    I was going to start it after I passed CCNA:S, however I've decided to do CCNP: R&S first then do Security.

    I found the foundations I had from CCNA R&S really helped with Security and due to the lack of material so far on the new track, I thought doing R&S first would be a good idea.

    I'm working on it now, working on SISAS (ISE exam) now, slowly but surely!

    put in a request to get the full CCNP security with work, I only have CCNA R/S and taking CCNA S exam this friday... so with out doing CCNP R/S will i be at a disadvantage?

    For the exams, maybe a minor disadvantage at most. I'm without my CCNP R/S as well.

    Haven't taken any of the new tests yest, only FIREWALLv2 and VPNv2.

    I was just getting started on FIREWALL when they announced the changes, so I decided to knock out the MCSA 2012 upgrade first. I'll be back on it soon enough.

    so the instructor on my training course keeps referring to CCNP Routing and Switching track.... and elements of CCDA. How have you found it doing the self study?
