Do use ARP as a way to know if the users are on YOUR own LAN/network?

OptionsBloogen Member Posts: 180 ■■■□□□□□□□What you may be looking for is the subnet. Two computer with host numbers in the same subnet mask can be said to be on the same network.
ARP will be used so your layer 2 devices know how to find each other using MAC Addresses over the local subnet.
