The exam 410. Has been updated to now include R2.

- So if I book the 410, is it R2. Or will I have a choice of R2 or just Windows Server 2012, that are both classed as 410.

- Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 has now been updated to R2.

R2 only. No option to take non-R2.

Thanks for the reply. Ok what about people that passed the 410 before that it was r2. Can they not just say there qualification is R2 and no one would know.

I really doubt it would ever come into question. But the title of the exam is "Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012". The fact that the content is R2 is not reflected in the title. If someone tries to pass as having taken the R2 exam when they actually didn't that's an ethics issue.

An employer can request your Microsoft transcript which has the dates you passed each exam. There was never a time when r2 and non r2 versions would have both been available.

The exam is based on R2 although I wouldn't worry about exam questions based on the two versions but worth taking a look at changes before you take the exam.
