Intermediate/Advanced...although it's slowly slipping away as I haven't worked with linux on a daily basis in over a year

For the most part I like what I do, but I have become the goto guy for stuff no one else wants to do. When I arrived here April Fool's Day of last year, there was a lot of software that worked on some machines and not on others. I have tried to standardize things. In doing so I spend a LOT of time compiling software. I don't mind it, I rather like it, because it is stuff people here use, but I don't know if I could use this skill elsewhere. A type piece of softwar I work on is:
GrADS Software
People sometimes ask for the same software, say Openmpi compiled with gcc, Intel, or PGI. So I may be an expert in this area, but we have lots of other technologies here too, like VMWare, NetApps, and clusters that I am lacking in.
