Which Security+ exam shall I do?

Hi All!
I am looking to do my Security+ due to the fact my A+ is expiring in December.
I see there is the 301 and 401, which one would you recommend me doing? I am looking to have this for the next 3 years.
Is there more resources available for the 301? Which one in your opinion you think is pretty flexible on passing.

Get Gibson's 301 book. go through every chapter. do a couple of practice exams. you should be good to go.

I'd also suggest the 301 if you can do it before the exam's retirement date. Professor messer is currently rolling out an update reflecting the '401 changes.Goals for 2015: ICND1 [], ICND2 []

I'm new here. So you can take either the new or old version of the Security+ exam?
