Isl & 802.1q

Are the mentioned marking/tagging fields and subfields covered/mentioned on the CCENT/CCNA exam? Or is it out the CCENT/CCNA scope?

E.g. 802.1Q's tag field containing the Ethernet type value subfield, User Priority subfield (802.1P, and the Canonical Format Indicator/ID subfield?

Nothing specific about it in the exam topic breakdown and I doubt it would go into any depth in those areas.

I doubt you would see anything about the exact format of a protocol's header below the CCIE level. Just know that ISL adds its own header and trailer and 802.1Q adds a small tag inside the Ethernet Header, that these tags contain the VLAN ID, that 802.1Q requires the Ethernet FCS to be recalculated because it alters the Ethernet Frame (ISL fully encapsulates the Ethernet Frame inside the ISL wrapper and has its own FCS in the ISL trailer), how to configure each method, and which is Cisco Proprietary (ISL) and which is an Open Standard (802.1Q).
