Hi Guys,
When doing console connection how do you know which com port to set in whatever program you are using? I can do it via trial and error but possibly there is a quick way?

What OS are you using, in windows, in device manager, under com ports it tells you what port number is assigned to each com port I have an 8 port card in my computer and I just went through and labeled each port with a piece of tape wrapped around the port cable.Current Lab: 4 C2950 WS, 1 C2950G EI, 3 1841, 2 2503, Various Modules, Parts and Pieces. Dell Power Edge 1850, Dell Power Edge 1950.
