What to start with!

I need to take the 5 exams that will get me certified for both MCSA Server 2012 and Windows 8.1. I have not started studying yet for either.

My question is which one should i start with? I am thinking the Win 8.1 track first, but do I need a server to really get the most out of it? So that made me think i might need to at least do the 70-410 first. Any thoughts on the order?

Thanks.

I would actually start with the MCSA Server 2012, for numerous reasons, the main one being that during studying for those exams you will learn what you will need to know to get the labs setup for your Windows 8 training. Once you finish that, you will have a decision to make.

Would it be worth it at that point to get your MCSA Windows 8? If you were to already have the MCSA in Server 2012, it might be more worthwhile to take 70-415 and 70-416. That would give you the MCSE: Desktop infrastructure. 415 covers stuff like creating images, deploying desktops, implementing RDP, etc. 416 covers application environments.

That is what I was thinking. But wanted to make sure.

I have to take it as part of my degree program, otherwise I might skip it.
