Questions on McAfee for Linux

JockVSJockJockVSJock Member Posts: 1,118
Running McAfee on RedHat Linux 5/6, and I need to start to update their .dat files.

If I run uvscan --version, I'm getting v 6.0.0.309

However, how do I know what time/date stamp the .dat file is.

Also once I get updated .dat files, where do I install them. I've noticed that McAfee has some basic info on their site that wants to stop a daemon called nails under /etc/init.d, however I show /etc/init.d/cam.
