Getting an Error setting up a VM

I am trying to install a win2k12 on a VMware player on a host running Win7 Enterprise 64 bit OS with intel pentium (<= I think this might be the problem) but I keep getting an error saying that a 64 bit operation is not possible. Has anyone who has came across this error or know where the problem is know the work around on how I can get this sorted out.
I appreciate any advice given!!!

It's complaining about Intel VT-x not being available or being disabled in BIOS. Check to make sure your CPU incorporates Intel VT-x technology, and make sure that VT-x is enabled in BIOS.WGU Progress: Master of Science - Information Technology Management (Start Date: February 1, 2015)

Try booting into BIOS/UEFI and verify that it's enabled in there. With a lot of systems, VT-x is disabled by default. If all else fails, try updating BIOS to the latest firmware and then re-enable VT-x.WGU Progress: Master of Science - Information Technology Management (Start Date: February 1, 2015)
