RAID on A+ core?
Legacy User
I was just wondering if RAID was an important thing to study for the A+ core?

You might expect it, but no, it's not an important thing. Actually it isn't even listed in the exam objectives at
www.comptia.org
Also the A+ training kit from MS press does not mention it in the updated for the new 2002 objectives third edition.
However it never hurts to study the basics so you won't get surprised.
A good resource for information about the different RAID levels can be found here:
http://www.acnc.com/raid.html
Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot! That RAID site has excellent diagrams and descriptions.
