I think the "err" is just the accent. I think somewhere in the States they pronounce "uh" as "er" or something like that...witty comment -

Oh well, the party's over...but yes, even though the 3 letters are all caps, they are not pronounced separately, it is one odd word, TIA, kinda like KIA (The car) without the engine, doors, wheels, cd player, etc...Tech Support: "Ok, so your monitor is not working, the screen is blank, and no matter what you do it stays blank?
