    I go with "Comp- T-I-A".

Every time I have heard it spoken, it was always "COMP-tee-a" with the emphasis on the COMP...

Might I be so bold as to ask why it matters? icon_wink.gif

I am pretty they say COMP-tee-err instead of Comp-T-I-A when you call them.

    Good question though!

    Naw, you're both wrong. :P

I think the "err" is just the accent. I think somewhere in the States they pronounce "uh" as "er" or something like that...

ok ok...let's not get into a debate about the accent, the point is, CompTIA is not pronounced Comp-T-I-A, but Comp~TIA.

However you say TIA, is beside the point.

Actually, it is properly spelled "y'all". English is one of the few languages that doesn't have a plural form of "you". People in the South make up for this with "you all" shortened to "y'all". Yankees use "youse guys".

Oh well, the party's over...but yes, even though the 3 letters are all caps, they are not pronounced separately, it is one odd word, TIA, kinda like KIA (The car) without the engine, doors, wheels, cd player, etc...
