Time to start CISSP

I recently passed the CEH exam and looking to move on to my next cert.

I have got the Shon Harris book and CBT nuggets for study.

I am currently a linux sys admin and looking move in to a more security focused role.

    Wow, thats like I just wrote it lol

    I was a linux sysadmin, did CEH - then did CISSP!

    Its worth the study time, as you get closer to the exam time use this reference to study, its great and really helped me pass (only 2 months ago)

    I've been reading through passed threads as much as i can, mainly because i don't work with or know any current CISSP's to endorse me. I would have to go down the providing evidence route. How long do you have to know the person before they can endorse you if i was to change jobs before passing the exam?

    To be perfectly honest I didn't think the exam was that bad, its more endurance than anything else. I read a couple of books back to back and kept that sunflower guide with me to brush up during any spare time I had.

    I found no similarities to any practice questions i'd done in prep.

    As far as the 'how long have you known your endorsing CISSP' I don't know is the answer.... mine was 2 Years..

    Afraid not icon_sad.gif having a wide exposure to multiple technologies helped... i found the exam to be based heaving on 'which is the BEST' 'which is the MOST' questions.
