Technical forensics certification

Now that I've finished my Master's degree it's time to focus on certifications again, and I want to go for forensics. The theory is always the same, so I'm looking for a certification where I'll learn actually putting into practice the content. Is there anyone? Kind of OSCP but forensics-related?

Take a look at what SANS have to offer. I hear great things about FOR 401 and FOR 508. Not to mention the rep of both SANS Training and GIAC certs in general.

The starting SANS forensics tracks are FOR408 and 508.

401 is the Security Essentials Bootcamp.

Any advice for or against EC-Council's Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator? I don't know much about it, but sounds like it might be of interest to yzT.

have u tried the free certification from accessdata? they have ace (ftk), summation certs (legal-ware) and ame (mobile). i just passed the ace a couple nights ago and I thought it was pretty beneficial to become familiar with this popular tool for computer forensics.
