Im sorry you didn't pass. Do you mind sharing with us the materials you used to study, your study plan and background. If you read all the "passed" threads on this site they will give you some guidance on how to pass. Don't give up! refocus, restudy and give it another shot.

it is a difficult exam, we need to answer from the manager point of view. What resources did you use?

I'm sorry for you pal, though, you're not far so keep up, schedule it again for like in 30-45 days and quizz yourself to hell with known good materials.. Also, i remember myself almost not believing the questions I've faced on the exam; so I calmed down re-read the question and available answers and then answered the CISSP way (best, most, like a manager and then only technical...)

    hope this helps...

It's okay. Don't get your mood go down because of that. You almost have it, just need a little bit more preparation. I believe that almost everybody failed some exam here, persistence is the key to win the game. Keep studying and give it another try in 2-3 months!

When I took it I wrote "CIO" on my desk. Paperbased exam at the time. A reminder like this might help.

Im taking mine in 2 weeks and have studied less material then you.

Was the ccure exams any use?

Don't give up! Many smart IT professionals have failed 2 or 3 times. 3 of my coworkers failed their 1st try and hit the books for a few more months and went back and flew through it. I failed the ISSEP with a 687 which literally means 1 or 2 questions. I studied 3 more months and took it yesterday and passed. ISC2 certs are well worth it!

Do you know your weak domains?

My coworkers who failed the 1st time used cccure.org paid subscription and passed. They said the practice questions are better then all the others.

I failed too first attempt , however i cleared last year Nov 19th. It happens... however my BIG advice would be don't loose focus and practice online mock tests as many you can. And also I would recommend that try to grasp very minute differences. Feel free to contact in case you need any other suggestions.

    Good luck ..!!!
