LSA Options explained?

When looking thorugh the OSPF database I see a line/field with the following description Options: (No TOS-capability, DC)

What does this means? What options can you change and what do they do?

Read the OSPF rfc to learn about options. "No TOS-capability" means ospf will have one routing table rather than one rib for each TOS value, afaik Cisco only supports "No TOS-capability" . The DC means the router originating the LSA supports demand circuits, a demand circuit will suppress lsa hello's and route refresh, a virtual-link is an example of a demand circuit.

Hi Ed, But don't you need hello's to create a neighbour relationship?

Does this mean that it does send hello's to set up the initial OPSF neighbour relationship, but not after the relationship has been established?
