I recently looked at my profile on the Microsoft Partner Website and they have my certifications as:

MCPS
MCNPS
MCDST

OK, I know what MCP and MCDST stand for but what about MCNPS and MCPS??

Anyone have a clue?

    MCPS;
    Microsoft Certified Product Specialists have passed at least one exam specific to a Microsoft operating system. Candidates may then "specialize" by passing additional Microsoft certification exams to further qualify their skills

    a.. Microsoft Certified Product Specialists - Individuals who demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of at least one Microsoft operating system, and have passed the certification exams that prove their technical proficiency and expertise.

    but nothing about MCNPS , I have the same problem...

    MCPS, MCDST,MCNPS certs posted in my MS Partner program

    According to that document, half of those exams are retired. I know the Win 3.1 and 95 exams are gone, pretty sure the rest are history as well. Sounds a bit ridiculous, especially seeing there is nothing from M$ site about MCPS.....List of Exams from M$......

    That document is also 10 years old.......I think either you took a qualifying exam a few years back, or it's just a mistake in your profile, because I think most of us have passed at least one M$ exam, which should make us all MCPS, but we're not. I say it's a retired track that is confusing people.

    Hello XXXXXX,

    Thank you for your e-mail regarding the MCPNS certifiaction.

    We appreciate your interest in the MCP Program and are glad to assist you with the MCNPS certification. During December 2004, the MCNPS certification with no meaning was uploaded to certain candidated worldwide. CertHelp identified this certification and removed it from our database. To remove this from your Partner Program page, you will need to contact the Microsoft Certified Partner Program, as they specialize in this area. As a courtesy, a copy of this email has been forwarded to this team on your behalf. Please expect a reply from the Microsoft Partner Program within two (2) business days.
