Is 70-417 a composite of 410, 411, 412

Starting a new job soon and moving from ccnp level networking to more devops/ms cloud environment. I currently have MCSE:2003 and according to several sources, taking 417 will get me MCSA:2012, is that correct? The wording here sounds like 417 is a composite of 410, 411, 412. Am I reading this wrong?

Adding to what ssnyderu2 said it covers all the new features as well as changes to existing features and roles that Server 2012 has compared to 2008. So any new objectives or revised objectives on the new 2012 will be on this exam. And you are correct you can take this one exam and it will upgrade you to MCSA 2012

I did not realize that it would upgrade from 2003. I found the below on Technet.

Upgrade from MCSA/MCSE 2003 to MCSA: Server 2012

There are many questions in the TechNet Forum for Training and Certification about upgrading from MCSA on Server 2003 or MCSE on Server 2003 so I decided to write a wiki about this topic.

You can upgrade to the new MCSA: Server 2012 certification from MCSE 2000/2003, and also from MCSA 2000/2003.

Upgrade from MCSE 2000/2003 to MCSE 2012:
    1) Pass exam 70-417: Upgrading your skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012

    2) Pass exam 70-413: Designing and Implementing a Server Infrastructure & 70-414: Implementing an Advanced Server Infrastructure

Upgrade from MCSA 2000/2003 to MCSA 2012:

    1) Pass exam 70-417: Upgrading your skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012
    2019 Goals: 70-698, CCENT, MCSA 2016
Certifications: A+, Network+, Security+, CIW Foundations and MTA OS Fundamentals
Cisco Lab :3x Cisco 2811 Routers, 3x Cisco 3750 Switches and Cisco 2620 Router with NM-32A module
