please help with vmware

Hi guys and girls,


I can't start vmware player, it asks me for a vmware configuration file and when I try a to creta one with MS office(word document) it dosen't accept
it tells me "file not found please verify the correct file name was given" or "vmware could not be loaded; it could be missing,inaccessible, or corrupt"

I don't know what to do .please help.
