scandisk not running...

actually when my system get turned off due to improper shutdown scandisk should run at restart but it is not running....anybody knows how to rectify it??

I often don't see it run. But then it's pretty unusual I get an improper shutdown that would cause a dirty disk.

You can manually schedule a scandisk at the next restart or even immediately if you don't ask it to fix problems.
