Darril Gibsons book is all you need. It was easy to understand and read. I also purchased his premium content which consisted of practice tests and flash cards. This was invaluable! These were the only resources I used and had a 30 day study time. Just commit by scheduling and hit the book!
Having Net+ helps immensely!
Does anyone have any recommendations for getting into a position for Sys Admin? I am assuming I should start with a help desk job to break in? I currently do everything in a small office but need more direction. Thank you guys for all the help!

Congrats on the pass. I take my Network+ this coming July 24. After that, I am pretty much going to study for the Security+. Furthermore, I keep reading and hearing from other techs that the Darril Gibsons book "CompTIA Security+ Get Certified Get Ahead SY0-401 Study Guide" is a really good book. Did you also use the CompTIA Security+ Get Certified Get Ahead SY0-401 Practice Test Questions book? Please let me know. Once again, congrats on passing the Security+ SY0-401 exam.
