Guess my score!

NetworkNewbNetworkNewb Member Posts: 3,298 ■■■■■■■■■□
So I will be taking the Security+ exam this evening with very little studying done. I have read a little bit less than half of the Gibson Security+ book in the past week and a half that I've been studying for it.

My question is what do you think my score will be?? I'd be very surprised if I passed but think it is definitely a possibility too...

Just for reference, my certs I have right now are: A+, Net+, and CCENT. And I have worked in IT for about 4-5 years working at smaller companies doing JOAT roles.

Also, because I know people will wonder why I am doing this, it is because I bought Security+ bundle which comes with another re-take. And I figure at worse it will give me a good idea of what the exam is like for my next attempt while I finish reading the book.

For those that don't know the scoring scale is 100-900 and passing score is 750. Good luck everyone!!

lol thought so too. ^^^ I'm calling I get like 715... I don't know though, alot of the topics seem pretty straight forward. I don't think I can be cocky since I haven't even studied much for it! =P

763!! Thought for sure I failed it at the end. pretty sure I'll review the last 60% of the Security+ book that I didn't read before moving onto the CISSP.

you ever feel like you shouldn't have passed an exam?

    I was closest!...now what did I win?

Also congrats on the pass! And I felt similar when taking exams...especially with ISACA having to wait 8 weeks leaves plenty of time for doubt to creep in.

Good luck on your CISSP studies!

That is awesome! I was really skeptical and unsure what to expect when I clicked on that. Move over IT certs, there's a new accomplishment in town...frame has been ordered for that bad boy.
