Study material for Security+

What kind of study material would you all recommend? For the a+ and n+ I've done the exam cram books but found those to be very vague. Do the top sellers on Amazon usually come with CDs that contain practice test software?

I'm really leaning towards Darril Gibson's book but it does not say anywhere that software is included. Would anyone be able to verify this?

How would you all rate the cbt nugget videos?

I would replace CBT Nuggets w/ Professor Messor. Professor Messor is very high quality. And better yet, you can watch it online for free! I usually watched it in VLC Player so that I could control the playback speed - slow it down for topics I didn't understand and watch the rest in 1.75x - 2x speed.

I also recommend Darril Gibson's book. it does NOT come w/ software. but as I recall, it comes w/ end of chapter quizzes and a mock exam at the end of the book. The questions aren't meant to replicate the questions on the exam, but are more a tool to test your understanding of the material. That said, I had no problem passing my Security+ after reading that w/ a very high score.
    Goals for 2018:
Certs: RHCSA, LFCS: Ubuntu, CNCF CKA, CNCF CKAD | AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS Certified Security Specialist, GCP Professional Cloud Architect
Learn: Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus & Golang | Improve: Docker, Python Programming
    To-do | In Progress | Completed

Thanks yall. Professor Messer over CBT Nuggets though? Last I remember his videos where just of him talking with no visual aids.

Any recommendations for practice exam software? Certmaster is the only one I can think of.
