Still logged in after reboot

Lee HLee H Member Posts: 1,135
Hi

Not sure if this is a Windows 7 specific problem but seeing as my OS is Windows 7 I shall put it here....

I am logging into a laptop and then choosing reboot - when it comes back on it says I am still logged in?

We also use Novel as our primary login which auto logs us into AD,

Does anyone have any idea what I could try, I have tried Google but no result matched my specific problem

This is what I see after I have rebooted >>> http://cdn9.howtogeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/650x250ximage102.png.pagespeed.ic.Uc8j0_oEng.png

Thanks

Very strange indeed! I don't have an answer but I thought I'd reply cause I'm also from Liverpool.

It looks like a local account to me from that picture? Or is it a domain account?

That is weird. If, after a reboot, you open a command line and run net stats srv or net statistics server, does the value given for "Statistics since ..." reflect that a full reboot actually took place?

What happens if you reboot by using shutdown -r -t 0 instead?
