800 to 900 series exam

Hello all,

I'm sure this might be an obvious question, but i'm newer to certifications as a whole and A+ will be my first.

I'm currently studying for the 801/802, but I know the 901/902 are on the horizon. I might be ready for 801 in time, but might not be ready for 802 in time.

With the 900 series coming, if I pass the 801 test and then that series is retired, will I have to take the 901, or would the 801&902 merit an A+?

    You cannot mix and match the series tests. You should have approximately six months from the intro of 901/902 until the retirement of 801/802.

    Oh perfect, 6 months would be just fine then.
