900 series released

Just posting this because I haven't seen a post yet.

The 900 series launched on 15 December

The 800 series retires on 30 June 2016 (English) and 31 December 2016 (other languages).

    Guys, I need some advice. I want to start studying for A+ certification but I'm torn between 801 and 901 exams. Should I wait til next month for 901 books or start 801 now? How important difference it will be between those two in a year or so?

    Professor Messer site has information regarding differences between 800 and 900 series.

    It seems to be just a general update. They are dropping XP for Windows 8/8.1, broadening the OS focus to include more non-Windows stuff (eg Android, Linux, OS X), more mobile device stuff, more cloud and networking. The exam structure has had some changes with troubleshooting appearing in both exams, and more Performance Based Questions.
