Has anybody taken this course lately? I see some posts from a few years ago but I just want to make sure it's not lost value before I sign up.

    Havent taken the course yet, but I hear good things about security tube in general. So I signed up for their monthly subscription. $99 first time registration and $39 every month for unlimited access to all course material (no labs). I am going to try it out for this year to see how I like it.

    I've gone about half way thru. I think if you don't have a good Python Base you won't get as much from it.

    With that said, Codeacademy.com has a great "FREE" interactive course. It will give you a good foundation.

    this looks pretty good, I think I might check out the other courses. I wish they had a guide, like take this class first, then this class, etc

    I do have a little background in Python and programming in general.

    I am almost through module 1 and frankly Vivek does a good job at the basics. I hope that the other modules are just as good.

    I agree, the whole site as a whole is pretty great. I'm looking forward to the Linux and Windows Forensics once time permits.

    Can't beat that for 39$ a month.
