Do you think 15 days of preparation is enought to pass Security+ exam ?

I have booked my slot for Jan 22nd, I planning to start my preparation today. I need you thoughts whether 15 days are enough to prepare and pass the exam. I already have knowledge of CISSP.

    With your knowledge of CISSP, you should be able to pass the exam only if you study everyday till you take the exams. Go through past questions and make sure understand the Simulations well. Do not take this exams for granted. Good luck!

    Nothing is impossible, but you can only find out for yourself by studying for 15 days and let us know if it is.

    Definitely possible.
    I passed after 4 weeks of study going from absolutely no knowledge.
    Also, if 2-3 days prior to taking the exam if you think you don't know enough you can just push it back a few more days.

    The exam is geared toward candidates with experience. If you have experience and you follow the objectives and understand them, then a couple weeks of study to become familiar with the vocab and exam specifics should be fine. The exam is testing what a candidate should know for that level of skill, so if you experience exceeds this point, most folks are fine with light review.

    you gotta grind out the course objectives line by line. I had no prior IT experience but I studied for 6 weeks and passed. I just kept studying the material over and over until I had it almost memorized. do a little research on the web and you'll see

    passed in 10 days... its just a test. Read Gibson's Security+ book, make sure to understand whats in there, pass the test. Nothing too crazy. I haven't started my CISSP studies but assuming a lot of it will cover what's on the Sec+ from it.

    I'm also just starting, giving myself around 30 days and Gibson Security + is my core resource. Lots of references to free materials in this forum - definitely look at cybrary.it and quizlet.com.

    I agree with ApusJamokus. Gibson's book was a great refresher for the Security+ exam.

    I have been studying since late sepember, I think I have given myself more time, as I went through every chapter in the authorized cert guide very thoroughly, then watched the video and completed a sim in the chapter, after I fully knew what I was being asked to do this was along with taking notes. It's taken some time, but I am a newbie to security side of things in IT, I am hoping to take the exam soon, once I get some money, and once I get my hands on prof messer course notes. Should give me good confidence going in to the exam

    With CISSP I think you should be okay. The passing score for the exam is on the high side though for Sec+.

    How did it go by the way?

    3-5 weeks from 0 and is doable, but with experience much less time, especially if you have CISSP. Good luck!

    Not sure he has passed the CISSP exam... "I have knowledge of CISSP" to me does not sound like "I have my CISSP certification" or even "I have passed the CISSP exam" :)

    SO did you pass the Security +?
