I don't think the CompTIA certifications you listed will be a major help to you if CompTIA isn't widely recognized in Peru. I think your money would be better spent on an applicable certification from Microsoft or the Red Hat CSA. -

There is no time period between the exams. You can take the Essentials one month then take your elective exam 3-6-9 months later. The CompTIA A+ certification is well known and has been for a long time now. I would stick with the A+ certification instead of doing the IT fundamentals. -

I think CompTIA is being a bit silly. They are just confusing people by making different versions of the 2nd A+ exam. If anything, I think CompTIA should spend their time making a new cert like Database+ or something like that. A Database+ cert would be a nice intro to Oracle, MS SQL, etc...
