If you're concerned about salary and job opportunities, but are also interested in network security, then I would recommend this order: 1 - CISSP 2 - CCIE - Security (of course get the NA-Security and NP-Security on your way.) Security and Cloud will both be future growth areas. I think Security is a need, and companies are now starting to realize that. Realistically, any organization that has an internal IT audit function likely already has a Security team in place. It is far easier to outsource audit, than it is to outsource security.
