GIAC LinkedIn group?
Anyone had trouble requesting access?
I requested membership, and I just found out the request was denied and I've been blocked from sending messages to the group admins. Not a good first experience...
I sent an email out, but I figured i'd ask around before I get more annoyed.

I thought I remember hearing that the SANS and GIAC LinkIn groups are not officially set up by them, but rather by existing GIAC-certified members. I could be wrong on that though.Hopefully-useful stuff I've written: http://kimiushida.com/bitsandpieces/articles/ -

The pass email invites you to join, and the owner of the GIAC Group is the Director of the GIAC program Jeff Frisk. -

Yeah, he responded to me that he will look into it. I'm hopeful, I just had to vent a little.

Seems weird, I just joined the group a couple weeks ago. Approval only took a day or so.
