You must sit an accredited course before the exam - this can be distance learning or classroom. Your course provider will make the 2 official sample exams available to you, along with the explanations showing why each possible answer is worth the 5,3,1 or 0 marks. Spend enough time on these until you really understand this. Generally, it is about reading the question carefully, making sure that the chosen answer fits the scenario, and that your chosen answer includes aligning with the business, not just a technical solution.
If you do the exam online, the result is available immediately.
